50 in 518 days

I had an idea from Hayley Powell’s blog. She is doing 30 before 30. So I set out for a list of things to do in a particular amount of days. After much thought and consideration I decided to do the 101 in 1001 days. Then I sit down and tried to come up with a list of things to do or accomplish. After starting the list I ran out of things to put, so I decided to do 50 in 518 days. I figure that I will have half the time but half the things to do. I hope to start a new list after this one to finish the 101 accomplishments. Guess I will see how I do on the 50 first. I challenge each of you to try something similar. It gives great accomplishment to finish a project and this is a very large accomplishment.

Moving!!

After a long weekend of moving we are in the house for good. It has been such a hard weekend! I believe that moving has to be one of the hardest jobs I have ever done. Now that we are in all I can see around me is boxes. Don’t you hate that! You feel as though you are suppose to be complete after such hard work and NO there is still more that needs to be done. At what point do adults get to be just “lazy”. Hard work or not I am still happy to be a homeowner! I am sure that the boxes will be gone one day and I will get to sit out on my front porch and enjoy.

P.S. Anyone having one of those lazy days can come by and unpack a box anytime 

Update on Kathryn

After a few years of medical issues with Kathryn, I am proud to say that she has been cleared. She started a few years ago with some headaches. I was so frightened as any mom would be. After several test they found a few cysts on her brain. They have been keeping a check on them for a while now and there has been no growth. The doctor said yesterday that unless we have more problems we don't have to come back. This has been a relief for me and Kathryn!! Thanks to all of you that have kept her in your prayers! Just wanted to update!

I am a homeowner!

I never thought that Jerry and I would make it here. We have been so excited yet stressed during this whole process. When we finally received the keys yesterday it was so great! Now the stress of moving (I am suppose to be packing right now). It is such an exciting time and I can't wait to finally be in "MY HOUSE". Thanks to all of you that have kept us in your prayers during this time in our lives! Also thank you to all of you that will be helping us move and do all of those things that go along with it. Here is a picture. I will keep you updated on all of our updates! :-)

Welcome to my blog

I have wanted to start a blog for quite a while, but haven’t really known what the appropriate thing to write about. I have realized that the blog world you write what is on your mind, so that is what I have decided to do. I hope to be able to share things that are going on in my life and my family’s life. I am sure things will start a little slow, but hopefully grow into more. I hope you come back by and join me in this blogging world. This should be a great experience.
